Judith Rene Shultz, 58, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2020 at Fisher Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.  She was born on June 10, 1961 in New London to Marvin Shultz and Ida May (Warner) Shultz.  Judy graduated from South Central High School in 1979.  She had also taken classes at EHOVE to be an STNA.

Judy was a loving, thoughtful, and caring person, who enjoyed crafts, jewelry making, traveling, going to auctions and the thrift store, and camping.

She was a nurse's aid at several local nursing homes and care facilities and later in life had worked for Kent Sporting Goods in New London, which she truly enjoyed.

Judy was a member of Ripley Church in Greenwich and had attended the Foundation Church in Norwalk for the last couple of years.

Survivors include her mother, Ida May Shultz; siblings, David (Elaine) Shultz and Stephen Shultz; numerous cousins, several nieces, and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Shultz, grandparents, and brother, Terry.

A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, May 27, 2020 beginning at 2 pm at Greenwich, Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitors are reminded to adhere to all COVID-19 mass gathering restrictions, practice social distancing, and wear a mask when such distancing seems unlikely.  Online condolences may be made at: www.eastmanfuneralhome.com
