Judith A. "Judy" Sickinger, 83, of Norwalk, passed away on July 1, 2024, at Gaymont Nursing Center. Born on February 6, 1941, to Frank and Elise (Brown) Meggitt. Judy was a lifelong resident of Norwalk.

Judy worked for Norwalk furniture for many years. Her most cherished memories were spent fishing on Lake Erie with her husband, Edward. She also loved to watch the Cleveland Indians, and gamble. Judy was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #711, Norwalk VFW Post 603, and American Legion Post 359.

Left to cherish her memory are Judy's sibling, Richard Meggitt; sisters-in-law. Evelyn (Paul) Ott, Shirley Nickoli, Lucille Sickinger, Pam (Edward) Hoon; and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Edward Sickinger; and parents, Frank and Elise Meggitt.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, OH 44857. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m., immediately following visitation, also at the funeral home. Private burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Cemetery at a later date.
