It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Judy Grose. Judy lived a life filled with adventure, strength, laughter, and love, leaving lasting memories everywhere she went and with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Born in San Antonio, TX, Judy was raised in California, where she developed the independent spirit and determination that would define her throughout her life. She later joined the United States Air Force, proudly serving her country and beginning a journey that would take her across the world. While stationed in Charleston, SC, she embraced military life and the many experiences and friendships that came with it.
Over the years, Judy lived in numerous places both stateside and overseas, including Panama, Germany, Philippines, Japan, and Florida. No matter where life took her, she carried with her a vibrant personality and unmistakable energy that drew people in.
Judy will be remembered as a spunky redhead with a bold spirit and a love for life’s little joys. She adored getting her nails done and proudly showing them off to family, friends, and anyone who would admire them. Her sense of humor, confidence, and warmth made every room brighter. She was strong-willed, caring, adventurous, and fiercely loved by those around her.
Judy leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her children: Timothy Grose and his wife, Patty; Jennifer Madrid and her partner, Alejandro Anzaldua; and Lisa Crouch and her husband, Matt. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Lee Grose, Micah Grose, Kiowa Madrid, F. Kaleo Madrid, and Skyler Timbs, and a cherished great-grandmother to Kalea Madrid, with another great-grandchild, Luke David, soon to be welcomed into the family.
Above all else, Judy cherished her family and the memories created throughout her remarkable journey through life. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her laughter, stories, and spirited personality will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always. Online expressions of sympathy may be made by visiting: www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
