Julie Hale, age 59, of New London and formerly of Greenwich, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Stein Hospice In Patient Unit, Sandusky. She was born November 19, 1958, in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Glenn and Edna (Shepherd) Hale. Julie had attended South Central Schools in Greenwich. She had worked at Kalahari for 9 years. Prior to Kalahari she had worked at Kent Sporting Goods in New London for over 20 years. She is survived by her daughter, Shauna Compton and her fiancé, Jason Powell; 3 grandchildren, Autumn Stephens and Caden and McKenzie Compton; her siblings, Glenna Hale, Darrell Hale, John Hale and Vickie Hale. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Cassie Mullins, Ralph, Kerry, Jacqueline, Archer, Nelson and Jerry Hale.
