June K. Pease, 82, of Elyria and formerly of Wellington, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at EMH. June was born September 7, 1927 in Cleveland to the late Ethel and Harry Brown. She spent her childhood in Elyria, graduating from Elyria High School in 1944. June later moved to Wellington and lived there for several years. June and her husband, Harlan, owned and operated Kamms Record Shop in Elyria, Ohio for many years. Her love for music covered a wide spectrum; though she favored classical music, June listened to almost anything. June was a charter member of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. She was also a member of the Rochester Historical Society and contributed to a cook book for the Elyria Historical Society. June is survived by her son Alan Pease of Apopka, Florida. She is also survived by her brothers, Gordon Brown, Harry Brown, both of Elyria, and Dale Brown of Orange, California. June was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Harlan and a sister, Donna.
