IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kailen Jean
Wilson
July 31, 1997 – July 6, 2025
Kailen Jean Wilson, age 27, of Greenwich left this earth to be with Jesus on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by her loving family. Born July 31, 1997, she graduated from New London High School in 2015. Kailen married her best friend, Clay Wilson, on August 29, 2020.
An adventurous spirit, Kailen loved being outdoors. She and Clay enjoyed hiking, fishing, biking, and swimming, and she also enjoyed spending time in her garden. She had a competitive side that pushed her far in athletic endeavors and family would joke that hanging out with her brothers and their friends, she could beat most of the boys. In high school, Kailen competed in track and field events, but gymnastics was her true passion.
While Kailen had her passions, she always prioritized the people in her life. When she became a mother, her children quickly became her number one. She became a full time mom after the birth of her daughter, Lindy, and cherished every moment that she was able to spend with her children. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family, playing outside with her kids, and spending time with all that she loved. Kind and generous, she was the ultimate role model for her children, a living example of what it is to be a good person. She had an infectious spirit that impacted every person that she interacted with and that will live on through all that knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Kailen's memory are her husband, Clay Wilson of Greenwich; children, Lindy and Luka of Greenwich; parents, Robert and Diane (Runkle) White of North Fairfield; siblings, Craig (Heidi) White of Columbus, Chris (Patti) White of Shelby, Melody (Eric) Brill of New Albany, Ryan (Stephanie) McGhee of Arcadia, IN, April Edmonds of Florida, Shannon (Diamond) White of North Fairfield, Douglas Lish of Monroeville, Amber (Schmid) White of Plymouth, and Mark (Jenna) White of North Fairfield; Deborah Nunley; her mother and father-in-law, Bob and Erika Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Zach Wilson, and Breanna (Corey) Haswell; and grandparents-in-law, Robert and Laura Wilson, and Laura Reaser.
