Karen L. Sabin, 82 of Wakeman, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family and friends.  Karen was born in Lodi, Ohio on September 30, 1942.  She was the daughter of the late George and Frances (Manning) Greenbank.

She worked at Whirlaway in Wellington and was a member of the Brighton Congregational Church.  Karen had a love for arts, crafts, shopping and cooking. She was the heart of her family, always social and full of life.  She cherished spending time with her loved ones and good friends, tending to her flower garden and enjoyed taking rides on the Kubota and golf cart.  She always looked forward to getting her hair done at the local salon.

She is survived by her 3 sons; Larry Sabin (Michelle Hendrix) of Wakeman, Christopher (Bobbi) Sabin of New London and Bryan (Christina) Sabin of Southside, TN; 5 grandchildren, Derek (Hanna), Erica, Kayleigh, Alyssa (Caden) and Trayce; 6 great-grandchildren, Della, Myles, Vera, Leo, Jake and Clara; her siblings,  Shirley  Sheffield of New London, Carol (Alan) Lacko of Elyria, Arthur "Tink" (Karen) Gingery of Norwalk, Bonnie (Jim) Richards, Kathy Gingery and Melody Gingery all of Wakeman; and several nieces and nephews.   Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Sabin, her father, George Greenbank, her mother, Frances (Manning) Gingery and her stepfather, Lawrence Gingery; brother, Robert Greenbank.

A celebration of life for Karen will be held at the Hileman Building, 2 Blake Street, New London, Ohio on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
