Karen Renee Heitsche, age 46, of Collins, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at home. She was born in Norwalk on May 17, 1964 and lived in the Collins area for the last 13 years. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Tim Heitsche; her children, Rickey Minney of Kipton, Tim Emerson Heitsche, Jennifer Leigh Heitsche and Holly Jeanne Heitsche all at home; 4 grandchildren; Austin, Forest, Rickey and Elijah; her mother, Ellen Cleavenger of New London; her siblings, Cecelia (Bill) Clevenger, Ellen Bowling, Margaret (Martin) Wiley, Melanie (Charles) Roberts, Jeffrey Ours all of New London, Carl R. Ours, Jr. and Larry Ours both of Savannah, Theresa Patchin of Norwalk and 3 dogs, Storm, Itty Bitty and Tucker. She was preceded in death by her son, Tim Henry Heitsche, her father, Carl Ours, Sr. and her sister, Carla Sue Ours. Visitation will be held Friday, December 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Hartland Ridge Cemetery. The family recently lost their home and belongs in a fire and in lieu of flowers memorials if desired may be given to the Tim H. Heitsche Benefit Fund in care of Firelands Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 8005, Bellevue, Ohio 44811 or may be dropped off at any Firelands Federal Credit Union Branch.
