Karen "Kerry" J. Barfield (nee Stipe), 58, of Lagrange, OH, was called home by her Savior on Monday, August 31, 2020 after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.  Kerry was born on October 30, 1961 to Eugene and Esther Stipe in Lorain, Ohio.

Kerry met her husband Tim in high school in 1978 and they married, as high school sweethearts, on September 19, 1980.  Their sweet union brought them Cory (Lauren), Bianca, Mallory, Faith and Luke.  Her three grandchildren, Aiden, Logan and Jaxson, brought her incredible joy.  All her children and grandchildren remembering the "Got you last" game.

A wonderful confidant, friend, lover, and wife to Tim, she was the reason for their success at life.  As a dedicated mother she homeschooled all her children successfully developing them into the giving and fantastic people they are today.  She used her great compassion and friendly faith to minister many families in the Christian education of their children.  It was in this ministry that she touched many lives and made many friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brothers Gene, Kevin and Joel.  She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, her brother Dennis and sister Sharon Tomaszewski.
