Karen R. Schick (74) of Norwalk, passed Friday, April 22, 2022, at her residence.

She was born December 6, 1947, in Norwalk to the late Elizabeth (Stallkamp) and Walter Kluding. Mrs. Schick was a graduate of St. Paul High School, class of 1965, and retired from Vacationland Federal Credit Union. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center, swimming at Ernsthausen Rec Center, being part of the Huron County Master Gardeners Club, traveling, playing golf, and gardening at home (especially her roses). Above all, she cherished spending time with family and friends.

Karen is survived by her 2 children: Brian (Lori) Schick of Brunswick and Theresa (Mike) Branson, of Houston, TX., 3 grandchildren, Karlo, Kaela and Faisal; 7 siblings, Patricia Morman, Mary (Thomas) Wilhelm and Raymond (Janice) Kluding, all of Monroeville, Michael Kluding and Rita Huyler, both of Norwalk, William Kluding of Houston, TX and Nancy Kluding of San Bernardino, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband David F. Schick (2015).

Private family services were held with burial at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Norwalk. The staff of the Walker Eastman Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W.
