Karen L. Nebergall, 66, of Ashland, died Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Samaritan Regional Hospital in Ashland. The daughter of the late William Ray and Eleanor (nee Doyler) Thomas, Karen was born on January 20, 1950 in Norwalk. She was a Manager at the Ashland Burger King until her retirement in 2007. Karen had a big heart and tried to help anyone that she could. She enjoyed reading her Bible, bird watching and she treasured time spent with her grandkids. Karen is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Donald; children, Mike (Dawn) Nebergall, of Florida, Dawn (W. William) Garber, of Mansfield, Dan (Cathie) Nebergall, of Ashland; 6 grandchildren, Darth, Sherri (Nevin), William, Thomas, Dylan and Caylin and a great granddaughter, Maya. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary; friend, Hulin; in-laws, Rod and Betty Williams, Luie Willey, Bud Nebergall, Jim Nebergall and a great niece, Tristan Conaway. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, March 2 from 4-7 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Don Erlenbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
