Karl Frederick Broud, a resident of Pittsfield, went to be with our Lord, surrounded by family, Karl was a lifelong farmer, plumber, owner of Broud and Sons Water Hauling and retired from Ford Motor in Lorain, Ohio. He was a graduate from Wellington High School in 1949. He was also a 66 year member of Farm Bureau, UAW Local 425 member and served many years as a 4-H advisor. Karl was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and loved spending time with his family. He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 66 years, Mary Lou (McConnell) Broud; sons, Gary L Broud (Tracey), Mark W. Broud (Florence) and daughter Karla L. LaChance (Mark); Grandchildren, Chad W. Broud (Melanie), Clay W. Broud (Agnes), Jessica L. Sleasman (Dan), Joseph M. LaChance (Amber), Jaqlyn A. LaChance (Greg) and Matthew A. Broud; Great-grandchildren, Mary Lou Bailey, Wyatt William, Kara Lee, Aaliza Marie, Gunner Reed, Joseph Liam, Brayden Blaine, Nolan Wade and Mackenzie Rose. Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Pittsfield Community Church, 17026 State Route 58, Pittsfield, from 3-6 pm with a meal to follow at the church.
