Karla E. Buchanan, 72, of Greenwich, passed Sunday, June 5, 2022 at her home. On February 11, 1950, Karla was born in Willard to the late Ruth (nee Pettit) and Wayne Parrott. Karla attended Willard Church of God for many years. Always very crafty, Karla's many hobbies included wood craft painting, scrapbooking, sewing, crocheting, cooking and baking. She enjoyed watching the cooking channel and trying new recipes. Spending time with her family and cooking for them she cherished most.

Karla is survived by her husband, Larry Buchanan, who she married June 30, 1968 and would have been celebrating 54 years this month; 3 children, Jeremy (Dawn) Buchanan, of Willard, Wendy (Mark McKeehen) Buchanan, of Willard, and Ben (Dannell) Buchanan, of New Haven; grandchildren, Kaleb, Austin, Sarah, Brienna, Kristen, Ian, Andrew, Jon, Jacob, Lucas, and Adam; 4 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Keegan, Kaydence, and Gwenevere; sister, Karin Perry, of Ashland; 3 brothers, Kenny Parrott, of Naples, FL, Gary (Kirsten) Buchanan, of Milan, and Chad (Trisha) Buchanan, of Greenwich; step sister, Cindy (Rick) Schimpff of Norwalk . She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Keith Parrott.
