Kathy Gordon, beloved wife of William Gordon of Penfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home during the early morning hours of March 6, 2023, after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Kathy was born on March 31st, 1947 and is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Will, and five devoted children: Sarah of Penfield; Justin (Leslie) of Topeka, Kansas; Becky (Jason) Hernandez of Beacon, New York; Polly Gordon (Brad Alflen) of Amherst and Adele (Eric, Jr.) Flynn of Penfield. She is also survived by her five grandchildren who will miss her dearly: Addison, Will and Liv Flynn of Penfield; Charlotte and Sydney Gordon of Topeka, Kansas. She is survived by her sister, Nancy (Robert) Brooks of Charlotte, North Carolina. In-laws: Lloyd (Sue) Gordon of Penfield; Robert (Bonnie) Gordon of Penfield; and Ruth (David) Klein of Akron. Kathy had 18 nieces and nephews, some of whom she was lucky enough to form close friendships with as they became adults, and several great-nieces and nephews. Her life was greatly enriched with many dear friends. She will be remembered for her joy, spunk and for her deep love of her family. She will be deeply missed. Kathy's body was donated to The Ohio State University Body Donor Program. A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
