Kathy Ella Marie Krisha

Kathy Ella Marie Krisha, of New London, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at the age of 72. She was born on March 30, 1954, to Ella (Wilson) and Leonard K. Krisha and was a 1972 New London High School graduate. Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Lourdes University and a master’s degree in criminal justice with a specialization in juvenile justice from Capella University.

For many years Kathy worked as a paramedic with North Central EMS and as a guardian with Ohio Court Appointed Special Guardian (CASA). In her spare time, Kathy could be found crocheting and watching movies with her cat, Cleo. She also enjoyed riding horses and going on walks.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Griffith; children, Kristina (Hillis) Smith and David Hillis, Jr.; grandchildren, Dakota, Kiana, Gavin, and Dustin; mother, Ella Krisha; siblings, Cheryl, Lenny, and Jim Krisha; and special friend, Luenda Hersha. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard in 2005.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 2 pm until the 3 pm service at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London.
