Collins, Ohio - Kathy F. Myers, 65, of Collins, Ohio, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 in Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born October 4, 1950 in Willard, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident.

Kathy retired from Tenneco in Milan, Ohio in 1996, and enjoyed camping, gardening, bird watching, crossword puzzles, crocheting, collecting Norman Rockwell, hunting mushrooms, baking, cooking, and had a love for butterflies. Kathy is survived by her husband, Tom, they have been together for 38 years, and married for 36 years. She is also survived by her children, Jason (Jessica ) Myers of Monroe, Michigan, and Jessica (Glenn) Williamson of Collins, Ohio, by her mother, Marie (Barton) Prelipp Marcum of Willard, Ohio, by her grandchildren, Brianna, Lilian, Miles, Jase, and Stella Myers, and by her siblings, Karen Prelipp of Norwalk, Ohio, Gail Dean of Shelby, Ohio, Jaci Shiendling, of Bethlehem, Georgia, Dwayne Prelipp of Willard, Ohio, and Mary Furr of Plymouth, Ohio. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Harold W. Prelipp, and by her sister, Cheryl Synder. Friends may call on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February, 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jessica Myers, her daughter in law, will officiate.
