Keith Lyon passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home in New London. He was 75. Keith was born July 6, 1941 in Lorain and was the son of John and Edna (Feldkamp) Lyon. He graduated from Lorain High School in 1961. Keith lived in Wellington for 15 years and resided in New London since 1987. He worked 30 years for TRW Nelson Stud in Lorain. After his retirement he took up farming. On March 30, 1963 Keith married Rose C. (Kudlo) Lyon. He cherished spending time with his family and friends. Keith loved building classic cars and hot rods. Other hobbies Keith enjoyed include: boating on Lake Erie and fishing, golfing, camping and traveling. Keith was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New London. Keith is survived by his wife, Rose; children, Rick (Deb) Lyon, Terry (Christy) Lyon, Michele (Joe) Downs and Nick (Stacy) Lyon; grandchildren, John, Jacob, Abe, Hannah, Trent, Sophia, Emma, Brock and Ava; sisters, Mary Cate Lyon and Barbara (Don) Macan along with sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barbara (Tom) Warren, Leo (Tammie) Kudlo, John (Rachel) Kudlo, Annette (Ray) Lengyel and Patti Gross. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Lyon. Visitation for Keith will be held on Monday, March 13th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 18 Park Avenue, New London with Father Jeffery Sikorski officiating.
