Kelly Lyn (Gilger) Putt, 28, of Greenwich, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous 2 year battle with lymphoma. Kelly was born April 17, 1983, in Norwalk to Dan 'Butch' and Barb (Bond) Gilger. Kelly graduated from Plymouth High School in 2001 and attended North Central State College. She was a 10 year employee of Fed Ex in Shelby. Kelly was a member of the North Fairfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed life to the fullest and deeply loved her husband and children. Kelly enjoyed shopping, gardening, traveling and being with family and friends. Kelly is survived by her husband, Jason Thomas Putt, whom she married on March 18, 2006; children, Hayley Rae Putt and Jacob Riley Putt; parents, Dan 'Butch' and Barb Gilger of Plymouth; brother, Rob (fianc'e, Jami Thompson) Gilger of Shelby; in-laws, Tom and Judy Putt of Greenwich; aunts and uncles, Bob (Sue) Cuppy of Shiloh, Vicki Gilger of Sunbury and Sandy Courtright of Plymouth; cousins, Paul Courtright, Laura Courtright, Beth Cuppy and Sean Cuppy; grandmother, Betty Gilger of Shiloh; other relatives, close friends and her Fed Ex family. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Paul and Shirley Bond and John Gilger. Visitation will be held Friday, February 3rd from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. at the Ripley Church, 4130 S. Edwards Rd., Greenwich where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastors David Horst and Jim Gaston officiating. Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich. Memorial contributions may be given to Jason T. Putt for their children, Hayley and Jacob Putt.
