Kenneth Cowan Cook

October 4, 1952 – February 11, 2026

Age 73

Ken was a generous and thoughtful friend, a great host and a devoted and loving husband. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Trudie Thomas Cook.

Ken was born to Mary Cook (nee Greely), of Seekonk, Rhode Island, and Kenneth Edward Cook from Cleveland, Ohio, both of whom have predeceased him. Ken is survived by his wife, Trudie and his sister, Graceann Cook Roese (Karl), of Jacksonville, FL, along with a multitude of friends.

Ken and Trudie were married in 1979, and moved to Wellington Ohio in 1986. There, they established a warm and welcoming homestead that gladly greeted friends and relatives. Throughout most of his career, Ken was self-employed as a data systems developer.

Outside of work, Ken was an exceptional, multi-faceted Renaissance man. He had a vast knowledge of antique musical instruments, music boxes, antique furniture, and Asian and fine art, and enjoyed and curated an impressive collection. He was also a fine musician, having taught himself to play the piano and organ keyboards from an early age after just two lessons. He was an aficionado of fine classical music, and also delved into architectural decoration, building and woodworking.
