Kenneth Carl Mutchler, age 75, of Ashland, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Hospice of
North Central Ohio, Ashland. He was born at home on the farm where he grew up,
June 24, 1934 in Loudonville, Ohio, son of the late Carl and Mabel (Peters) Mutchler.
Kenneth was a 1952 graduate of Loudonville High School. He served in the U.S. Navy
during the Korean Conflict. He was a maintenance supervisor at General Motors in
Mansfield. Kenneth was a member of St Peter's Catholic Church in Loudonville. He
was a former member of the Mansfield Am. Vets. He enjoyed fresh water fishing and
hunting.
He is survived by his children, Carol (Gerald) Houchin of Mount Pleasant,MI., Martha (Michael) Pagano of West Salem, Ohio Janet (Britt) Miller of Ashland and
Thomas (Rachel) Mutchler of Ashland 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons; his
siblings, Lucille May Paullin of Orrville, Ohio, Clara-Jane Conrad of Loudonville, Ohio,
Marion Mable Randall of Florida, Robert Louis Mutchler of Findlay. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Doris Marie Mutchler, his siblings, Lawrence Franklin and Ralph
Henry Mutchler, Florence Ellen Gale and Virginia Lou Hans.
Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London. Burial with military rites will follow at the Ruggles Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be given to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr., Ashland, Ohio 44805.
