IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kirk Lee
Jordan
May 31, 1969 – June 2, 2024
Kirk Lee Jordan, 55, of Sullivan, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, June 2, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. On May 31, 1969, Kirk was born in Oberlin to Dan and Bonnie (nee Watters) Jordan. Kirk grew up in Huntington and graduated from Black River High School.
Since 1989, Kirk has worked at Spencer Forge as a shipping manager. He was a member of the Wellington Eagles and the Wellington First Congregational United Church of Christ.
Being outside filled Kirk with such joy; he enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting, and working in his yard and garden. A true animal lover, Kirk spoiled his three golden retrievers, and could often be found feeding the birds and other wildlife around his home.
Kirk was also an avid comic book collector, known as a completionist – meaning he focused on collecting an entire series, not just the most popular titles. He absolutely loved elaborately decorating his home for Halloween.
Left to treasure his memory are his wife of 28 years, Christina (nee Scott); sons, Gage (Rebecca), Austin and Chad, all of Sullivan; his parents, Dan and Bonnie Jordan and his brother, Jeff (Cheryl) Jordan.
A celebration of life will be Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 6-8 PM at the Wellington Reservation, 535 Jones Road, Wellington, OH 44090. Fond memories and condolences for the Jordan family may be given at: www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
