Kirk A. Piscitello, 44, of Medina, Ohio, passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side on January 16, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born on February 2, 1981, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Anthony and Jody (Kauble) Piscitello. Kirk graduated from Bellevue Senior High School and studied engineering at Terra Technical College.
Those who knew Kirk will remember him for his love, kindness, and deep-rooted faith in Jesus. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh while leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. Kirk was a loving husband, father, and his family was the greatest joy in his life. Kirk was also an avid cyclist, a former volunteer firefighter for Bellevue and Bowling Green/Wood County, and a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan. He worked for First Energy as a Draftsman and had worked for Mazzella Lifting Technologies.
Kirk is survived by his wife and companion, Elisha (Miano) Piscitello of Medina; their children, Braxton and Mahayla Piscitello of Medina; parents, Anthony and Jody Piscitello of Norwalk; brother, Ryan (Tracy) Piscitello of Norwalk; sister, Leah (Jason) Demuth of Norwalk; father in-law, Scott Miano of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; mother in-law, Penny (Robert) Juhn of Oak Grove Missouri; brother in-law, Joseph (Amy) Miano; sister in-law, Lindsey (Jim) Hrobak; nieces and nephews, Braedyn and Garrett Demuth, Ava Piscitello, Natalie and Haley Ellis; aunts and uncles, Rita (Jon) Rohlf, Rosario (Alyce) Piscitello, John (Kathleen) Piscitello, Mary (Dale) Close, Cheryl (Tom) Maiberger, Dan (Lisa) Kauble, and Kim Wilburn; many cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rosario and Catherine Piscitello; maternal grandparents, Fredrick and Margaret Kauble; and uncles, Marc Kauble and Jim Wilburn.
A memorial visitation will be held for Kirk on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. The funeral service will be held the following day, Monday, February 2, 2026, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, Norwalk, beginning at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
