Kirke E. Grose, age 64, of Wellington died July 20, 2007 at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland after a long illness. Mr. Grose was born December 1, 1942 to the late Kenneth and Mabel (nee Clark) Grose. He had lived in Wellington most of his life and was a graduate of Wellington High School.
Mr. Grose worked at Oberlin College for many years and also worked at DIY for 5 years in the plumbing department. He enjoyed farming. He collected steins and was a member of the North Coast Stein Club. Mr. Grose was a member of the LaGrange Engine Club and the Lorain County Lamb and Wool Producers.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Louise (nee Weber), three children, Kalyn (Edward) Wise and Kerric (Sandy) Grose, all of Wellington, and Kayden Grose of Columbus, and two grandchildren, Bailey Wise and Kinsey Grose. He also is survived by his twin brother, Kermit Grose of WV, and a niece and nephew.
A private burial will take place at a later date. Family and friends are encouraged to gather at Kirke and Louise's house on Sunday, July 29th starting at 1pm for a time of fellowship and remembrance.
