Kolleen Marie Patton, 47, of Nova, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk. Kolleen was born on July 9, 1975 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of James N. and Mary Ellen (Moran) Neal.
Kolleen was a 1993 graduate of Mapleton High School. On July 9, 1993, she married the love of her life, Donald L. Patton. Kolleen went on to obtain her bachelor's degree in accounting, while raising and caring for her family. Kolleen was employed as an accountant with Consolidated Cooperative of Mt. Gilead. Prior to joining Consolidated Cooperative, she was employed with Firelands Electric Cooperative in New London for 17 years.
Family always came first for Kolleen. Her daughters were her life. She loved spending time with her family playing board games and cards. She was a care provider for her extended family, always putting her family's needs before herself. Kolleen enjoyed cooking and loved flowers. She was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Kolleen is survived by her husband, Donald L. Patton; twin daughters, Lydia Ruby Renee Patton and Adelynn Mary Riley Patton; her father, James Neal, of Nova; her siblings, Kelly (Dale) Efaw of TN, Kimberly (Charles) Wright of IN, and Kristin LeFever of TN; her mother-in-law, Ruby J. Patton of New London; several nieces and nephews who adored her; her sisters- in-law and brothers- in-law, Brenda (Rick) Pence of WV, David (Cheryl) Patton of SC, and Lutresa (Jeff) Hohler of Berlin Heights.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ellen Neal and her father-in-law, Bobby J. Patton.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the New London Alliance Church, 4625 St. Rt. 162, New London; where her Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Lang officiating. Burial will follow at the Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
