Kurtis T. Beatty, 44, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2024, at home.  He was born on January 3, 1980, in Norwalk, Ohio, to Mark and Vickie (Smith) Beatty.  Kurt graduated from Norwalk St. Paul High School in 1998, and Heidelberg University in 2002.

After college, Kurt moved to Columbus where he was a mortgage broker.  He was a movie buff who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter Mia, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, and all Cleveland sports teams.

Kurt is survived by his daughter Mia Claire of New Albany, Ohio; parents, Mark and Vickie Beatty; brother, Daniel and Stephanie Beatty; and nephews, Mason and Logan Beatty. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clifford and Sally Smith and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Carolyn Beatty.
