Larry Eugene Jamison Sr., age 62, of Clarksfield, went to be with his Lord Sept. 25, 2008 of an apparent heart attack. Born Nov. 8, 1945 in Bellevue, Larry was a 1964 graduate of Bellevue High School. He lived in Clarksfield for 26 years. He served in the U.S. Army in the 7th Cavalry from 1966 until 1969. In Larry's early career he worked at Hamilton Beach, formally of Norwalk. He also worked over 20 years for Norwalk Furniture, working in maintenance for the last several years. Larry was a member of the Greenwich Church of Christ. He was very mechanical and enjoyed fixing things in the garage. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Jane (Coultrip) Jamison; 1 daughter, Melinda Jean (Randy) Killough of Jackson, TN; 3 sons, Larry Eugene (Jenny) Jr. of Greenwich, William Wyatt of Clarksfield, and John C. (Karen) Jamison of Garden City, MI; 9 Grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; 3 sisters, Phyllis Jamison of New London, Pat Miller of North Fairfield, Carol Gumm of Norwalk; 1 brother, Kenny Jamison of Wellington. Preceded in death by is mother, Anna Metts, his father, Phillip Jamison and brother, Richard Jamison. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 29 at Meadow Green Memorial Park Chapel, 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron, Ohio with Pastor David Manley officiating Entombment will follow.
