Larry Richard Rheinbolt, 84, of Kingsport, TN, died on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at his residence.  He was born on January 18, 1940 in Willard, OH, the son of the late Brittanna "Brittie" (Westbrook) Jacobs and Richard Rheinbolt.

Larry was a 1958 graduate of Greenwich High School before going on to Ohio Northern University (ONU) where he earned a degree in engineering.  Following graduation from ONU, Larry lived in the Toledo area for several years before relocating and settling in Tennessee.  Growing up Larry participated in Boy Scouts, he was also a fisherman and enjoyed spending time on the water.

Larry is survived by his son, Eddie Rheinbolt, daughter in law, Sally Rheinbolt and several grandchildren: siblings, Joseph (Cindy) Jacobs, Gloria (Don) Snook, Jerilyn (Jim) Gahring, Roberta "Bobbie" Ronk.  In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sons, Richie and Patrick Rheinbolt; sister, Sandra Everetts and brother in law, Dave Ronk.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W.
