Bellevue, Ohio - Larry Windele Thornsberry, 40, of Sandusky, Ohio took his last breath on Friday July 28th, 2017 after a long battle with his health. Larry was born on May 29th, 1977 in Shelby, Ohio to Althea Sexton and Jimmy Thornsberry. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved anything that had to do with basketball. One of his greatest accomplishments was his children, he loved being a father. Larry had a very large group of friends and family, and was loved by many for his charming personality. On June 6th, 2017, Larry very proudly chose to give his heart to the Lord with his family by his side. Larry is survived by his mother, Althea Sexton; his paternal grandmother, Eva Thornsberry; his former spouse, Larissa Thornsberry; their daughter and son-in-law, Haley and Joshua Bardell; their son, Jacob Thornsberry; his partner, Treva Campbell; their three sons, Brayden and Trevyn Thornsberry, Brentyn Campbell; and his daughter, Kayla Thornsberry. He is also survived by his brothers: James Burkes, Robert Carpenter, Jeremiah Crain, Brandon Johnson, Jimmy Thornsberry; and his sisters: Alicia Johnson and Angel Thornsberry. Larry is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Thornsberry; his paternal grandfather, Luther Thornsberry; his maternal grandparents, Birtha and Buford Sexton; and his brother, Shane Sexton.
