Larry J. Walker, 72, of Oberlin died on December 29, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.  Larry was born on May 14, 1950 in Kanawha, WV, the son of Harlen and Dorothy (Drennen) Walker.  Larry graduated from Clay County High School.  Following graduation he relocated to the Oberlin area, where he has resided since.   He retired from Larson's Foundry in Grafton, where he operated a tow motor, often doing patterns around the shop.

He was a simple man, down to earth and easy going.  He did enjoy gambling, especially the roulette.  He liked to watch TV, but the most important thing in his life, was his family.  He cherished spending time with them, as often as he could.

Larry is survived by his wife, Judy Walker of Oberlin; daughter, Misty (Dan) Simmons of New London; special niece Amanda; grandchildren, Adrian, Amber and Carissa (Cory); 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy Jeffrey, Linda Layton, Kathy Clark and Violet Morris.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael J. Walker and brother, Milton Walker.
