Laura D. Gravenhorst, 23, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 in her home. She was born on July 12, 1997 to Lavanna "Anna" M. (Ringle) Harmon and the late Donald J. Gravenhorst in Norwalk, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. She attended Monroeville High School and worked as a nurse's aide at Portland Place Nursing Home in Sandusky, Ohio, and she worked part time as a housekeeper at Motel 6 in Avery, Ohio.  Laura enjoyed the outdoors, camping, cliff diving, walking with her friends, and she liked butterflies.  She was adventurous and enjoyed going to amusement parks, including Cedar Point, Soak City and Kalahari.  Laura was a wonderful mother and loved spending time with her son, Jayce.

She is survived by her son Jayce D. Gravenhorst of Norwalk, Ohio, by her mother, Lavanna "Anna" M. Harmon of Norwalk, Ohio, by her siblings, Michelle A. Largo of Crystal River, Florida, and J. Luke Harmon of Norwalk, Ohio.  She is also survived by her fiancé, Kenneth Low, special guardians Thomas and Denise Gardner of Olena, Ohio, lifelong family friend, Dorothy Ruffer of Norwalk, Ohio and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Laura is preceded in death by her father, Donald J. Gravenhorst in 2008, by her maternal grandparents, Leland and Patricia Ringle, and by her paternal grandmother, Janet Gravenhorst.

A private visitation will be held along with a private graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Monroeville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W.
