Lawrence Cisco

April 29, 1951 – February 2, 2022

Lawrence Cisco, 70, of Norwalk, was called home unexpectedly by the Good Lord on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Lawrence was born in Delbarton, West Virginia on April 29, 1951, to the late Oliver and Edna (Mahon) Cisco. After graduating from Burch High School in West Virginia, he packed up and moved to Ohio, where he got a job at Ford Moter Company in Lorain, retiring in August 2001.

In 1975, Lawrence was set up on a blind date with Nancy, and they married a year later. During their 47 years together, Lawrence was a loving, caring husband and father.

In his spare time, Lawrence loved fishing, coon hunting, running beagles and watching college sports. He cherished his show dogs, most of all. Lawrence really enjoyed talking to his friends. The man never knew a stranger and would talk to anyone willing to listen.

Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Nancy (Krupp) Cisco; daughter, Gina Cisco-Zamano; brothers, Sid Cisco of Sandusky and Trellis Cisco of Varney, WV; sister, Bessie Boyd of Sandusky, and numerous loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Lawrence is preceded in death by his siblings, Kermit Cisco, Rayburn Cisco, Brady Cisco, Jans Cisco, Marion Cisco, Dorothy Stratton, Delsie Brumfield, and Frances Colangelo.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Norwalk.
