Lawrence M. Kline, age 84, of Greenwich, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born March 25, 1925 in Ruggles, Ohio, son of the late Andrew and Mabel (Marvin) Kline. Mr. Kline had lived most of his life in Greenwich. He was a graduate of Greenwich High School. He had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the U.S.S. Frost. Mr Kline had worked at Richland Screw Machine where he retired after many years of work as a machinist. He attended the New London Alliance Church. He enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Felver) Kline, whom he married April 14, 1951;
his children, Sharon Kline of Norwalk, Judy (Charles) Seidel of Willard, Randy Kline of Greenwich; his former daughter in law, Julianne Kline of Greenwich; grandchildren, Jason Seidel and his friend, Dolores Bluntschly, and her children, Chanel, Meredith and Storm,
Dana Seidel, Ashley Kline and her fiance, Anthony Tozzi, and Andrew Kline and Amy Kline; 2 great grandchildren, Carter Lee Patton and Frankie Marie Seidel; his sister, Arlene Wilson of New London; his brother, George Kline of Landcaster, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Annis Brady, Ellen Paramore, Cora King, Margaret Kline and Harold Marvin.
Friends may call from 6 ' 8 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with Rev.
