Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Bitting, Sr., 75, of Huntington, died Friday, December 26, 2014 at his home. The son of Joseph and Oval (nee Pringle) Bitting, Larry was born on July 25, 1939 in Wadsworth. A 1957 graduate of Seville High School, Larry moved to the Huntington area in 1973. He owned and operated Wellington Auto Parts and had a passion for cars. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Lori (nee Musick) Bitting; children, Royale (Robert) Bitting, of Medina, Lori (Jamie) Gregorie, of Medina, Kim (Jeff) Morgan, of Centennial, CO, Sara (Jared) Baxter, of Huntington, and Larry (Liz) Bitting, Jr., of Wooster; 9 grandchildren, Rhiannon, Jesse, Danielle, Justine, Brian, Stephanie, Willow, Vinny and Nicholas and 2 great grandchildren, Audrey and Anslee. He was also a beloved uncle to many. Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Porr. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, December 31, from 1 p.m. until the 4 p.m. Funeral Service at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Pastor Steve Carmany will officiate the service and a private burial will take place at Huntington Cemetery at a later date.
