Lawrence Edward Sorg, 72, of Wellington died Sunday, January 24, 2010. Lawrence was born on June 25, 1937 to the late George F. and Elva A. (nee Perkins) Sorg in Medina. He graduated from Medina High School in 1955 and served his country in the Army. Lawrence worked for Phfaudler Company and retired from InvaCare. He attended St. Paul United Church of Christ in Elyria and enjoyed bowling, softball and Gospel Music. Survivors include his brothers, Robert Sorg of Berea and Leonard Sorg of Wellington. Lawrence was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Kenneth, James, George, John, Ralph, Harry and a sister, Marjorie Brinker. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 29th at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul United Church of Christ, 9715 East River Road, Elyria with Rev. Allen Grothe officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the church
