Lawrence B. Thudium, 87, of Wellington, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the New Life Hospice Saint Joseph Center in Lorain. Lawrence was born in Huntington on January 10, 1924 to the late Nile L. and Esther (nee Crile) Thudium. He lived his whole life in Wellington and was a graduate of Wellington High School. Lawrence worked for the former Lux Air Company manufacturing furnaces for 34 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed watching baseball. Lawrence is survived by his wife of 65 years, Odra; his children Victoria (David) Ryan of Elyria, Edward Earl Thudium of Medina, and Lawrence B. Thudium Jr. of Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Betty Wacker of Wellington. A private family service will be held and burial will take place at Huntington Cemetery.
