Lee Edward LaMothe, 74, passed away Saturday evening, March 18, 2023, at Twilight Gardens in Norwalk.

Lee was born September 28, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Rosemarie and Herman LaMothe, Jr.

Lee worked as an auto mechanic and later at Norwalk Furniture until he retired in 2006. He was a homebody who loved nothing more than to sit in his garage with a cold beer. Lee did many home improvement projects until his health slowed him down. He was an avid fan of all sports and watched any game on television.

Lee is survived by his wife of 26 years, Cindy (Henry) LaMothe; son Aaron (Max) Corbin; stepdaughter, Valerie (Matt) Smith; brother, Dennis (Audrey) LaMothe; sister, Debbie Gardner, both of Michigan; brother-in-law, Dwight Henry, and sister-in-law, Gail (Neil) Burras.

In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his mother-in law and father-in-law, Marcella and Charles Henry; two brothers, Richard and Jim, and brother-in-law, David Henry.

Per Lee's request, cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
