Lee Ann Schneiter, 51, of New London, passed away March 27, 2010 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of John and Judy Osterland, and was born August 27, 1958 in New London. Lee was a 1977 graduate of New London High School. She worked a number of jobs for area businesses. Lee was an active member of the New London Eagles for many years; she was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Browns. She also helped at many New London School activities and you could always see her at the Randy Harner Memorial Wrestling Tournament. Lee was always riding around town and going to the Westend Greenhouse. She loved going to a family cottage in Canada.
Lee is survived by her three daughters, Dawn (Mike) Hess, Dalee (Bill) Speicher, and Devon Schneiter, all of New London; her mother, Judy Osterland; brothers, John Osterland Jr. of Clarksfield, and Mark (Sherri) Osterland of New London; sisters, Debra Farnsworth of New London, and Vicky (Charlie) Mack of Plymouth. Lee is also survived by her Grandchildren, Daltin Schneiter, Amber, Carlee, and Brenna Hess, Makenzie, Jocelyn, Jaxon and John Speicher, and Ryliee Reagan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by her father John Osterland Sr.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30 at Eastman Funeral Home 200 West Main, New London, where Services will be held on Wednesday, March 31 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery.
