Leila G. Overly, 75, residing in Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her residence.

Leila was born on December 13, 1945 in Barberton, OH to the late Howard and Mary (Parks) Mayne.

Leila had many hobbies and was very skilled with her hands. She enjoyed reading, crafting, crochet and knitting. Leila also made beautiful Christmas ornaments. Her greatest of all was spending time with her family.

Leila is survived by 10 children, Sue Medley of Texas, James (Brenda) Auman of Norwalk, Beverly Tolle of Norwalk, Christine Auman of Texas, Kenneth (Missy) Auman of New London, Mary (Jason Griffore) Cheney of Sheffield Lake, Richard (Donna) Overly of Georgia, Ed (Sue) Overly of Georgia, Eber (Crystal) Overly of Florida and Eric Overly of Wakeman; 27 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and 7 siblings, Howard (Donita) Mayne of Ohio, Earl (Marsha) Mayne of Alabama, Linda (Donnie) Shambaugh of Ashland, Judy Brown of Akron, Thelma (Don) Eizember of Cleveland, Douglas Mayne of Cleveland and Joan Hutton of Florida.

In addition to her parents, Leila was preceded in death by her first husband, James Auman who passed away in 1975; second husband, Richard Overly, who passed away in 2004; sister, Edith Farmer; brother, Craig Mayne and 3 half sisters, Betty, Sharon and Nancy.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11 am at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
