Leona Merrill, age 90, of Clarksfield, died peacefully at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk on February 3, 2016. She was born September 19, 1925 in Clarksfield and spent her entire life there. She loved her farm life, flower gardens, sports, and the New London Wildcats and she cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Leona is survived by her son Dale (Marcia) Merrill of Clarksfield; grandchildren Kent Merrill, Josh (Natasha) Merrill, Lee Merrill, and two great grandchildren, Noah and Jacob Merrill. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman, son Lyle, and two great grandchildren, Elijah and Hannah. Graveside services will be private for the family.
