Leonard "Lenny" Meurer, 78, of Norwalk, OH went into the Lord's arms early Wednesday morning, February 9, 2022, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Lenny was born March 23, 1943, in Lockport, Illinois to the late Leonard and Helen (Patrickson) Meurer.

Lenny proudly served his country as member of the United States Navy. He retired from Argonne, which is based in Chicago, Illinois. From there, he became an accomplished business owner of Fork in Fingers restaurant in Willard, OH. Everyone knew Lenny for his vivacious smile and kind heart. He never knew a stranger. His kind heart led him to pursue a career at the Christie Lane Industries, where he was adored by everyone.

Lenny is survived by the love of his life, Diana (Goble) Meurer, whom he married on February 5, 1994; children, Ryan (Melinda) Meurer, Josh (Kristen) Meurer, Tresa (Steve) Steinmetz, Amy (Jeff) Griffin and Cindy Clark; grandchildren, Haleigh (Richard), Brooke, Brandon, Abby, Brock, Ethan, Logan, Brooke, Jared, Gracie; great-grandchildren, Branson, Aiden, Ryleigh and Nolan.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, from 1 pm to 3 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857.
