Lesley P. Cochran, 80, passed away on Friday, December 5 in Indiana. Born on September 11, 1945, in Romeford, England, Lesley was the daughter of Paul S. and Vera R. (Beavan) Baker. She resided in Norwalk for 20 years and then Mansfield for 14 years before settling in Sweetser, Indiana. She graduated with the Norwalk High School Class of 1963 and went on to earn an associate degree. A die maker at General Motors, Lesley retired in 1998 after 19 years.
She found great peace in her Bible studies. Lesley was passionate about learning – she loved learning about computer operations and how to manage and understand her healthcare issues. Another interest was understanding American history and staying up to date with current events. Lesley also enjoying visiting casinos – both in and out of state.
Lesley is survived by her loving husband, James Cochran; sons, Loren E. Greene, of Lima, Eric E. Greene, of Bluffton, and Steve J. Wilcox, of Monroeville; grandson, Patrick E. Greene, of Lima; and siblings, David (Linda) Baker, of Jacksonville, FL, Lorraine (Arthur) Barrette, of Milan, Robin Baker, of Jacksonville, FL, Barbara (Ken) Richardson, of Maricopa, AZ, Marjorie (Bruce) Sanford, of Norwalk, and Richard Baker, of Jacksonville, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Eileen Ungerer, Maureen Johnston and brother, Terrance Baker.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, December 11 from 4-6 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Cemetery.
