Lester E. Moore, 85 of Norwalk, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born to the late L.C. and Bettie Irene (Becker) Moore on September 7, 1934 in Norwalk, Ohio and was a lifelong resident of the Sandusky and Norwalk areas.

Lester was kind, funny, easy going, and had a huge heart. He was a previous member of Mt. Harvest Church of God for over 48 years and retired from Maple City Rubber in 2000 after 48 years of employment. He enjoyed housekeeping, cooking, reading the bible, and his pet birds. Lester's greatest joy came from spending time with his loving wife and family.

He is survived by his children, Charley R. Arnett of Bellevue, Ohio, Melissa "Lisa" (Marty) Oney of Norwalk, Ohio, and Michelle M. Clark of Monroeville, Ohio, by his brother, Elton R. (Phyllis) Moore of Castalia, Ohio, by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

Lester was preceded in death by the love of his life; Martha E. (Rowe) Moore in 2005, by his son, James C. Arnett, and by his son-in-law, Gary Clark.

A drive thru opportunity to show support for the family will be held at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio on Saturday, May16, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Visitors should enter using the funeral home's east entrance, remain in their vehicles, briefly greet the family, and exit using the west exit. Visitors are also encouraged to wear a mask and practice all social distancing and mass gathering guidelines.  A private family graveside service will follow.
