Lillie N. Ellis, 88, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully, Sunday afternoon, October 30, 2022, at her home.

Lille was born in Ramage, West Virginia on July 8, 1934, to the late Milton and Lessie (Perdue) Mullins.

Lillie grew up in a big family and was very fond of all her siblings. She was a dedicated homemaker for her own family and enjoyed taking care of her loved ones. Lillie enjoyed cooking, canning, and crocheting. Her greatest joy of all was spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lillie was also a devoted member of the Wayside Temple in Castalia.

Lillie is survived by her 3 children, Evelyn (Bill) Wiswell of Norwalk, Brenda (John) Welfle of Norwalk, and Dennis Ellis of Lancaster; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and 7 siblings, Nellie Coleman of Kentucky, Dollie Ellis of Norwalk, Maxie (John) Knox of Crooksville, Glennie Hatfield of Monroeville, Margaret "Gail" Christian of Radcliff, David (Janice) Mullins of Dayton, and Joseph (Sue) Mullins of North Fairfield.

In addition to her parents, Lillie was preceded in death by husband, Jackson "Jack" Ellis; siblings, Katheryn Quisenberry, Madeline Houda'Sheldt, Silas Mullins, Paul Mullins, and 2 additional siblings in infancy.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 10 am until the time of funeral service at 12 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. The burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk.
