Linda Marie Hamilton

Linda Marie Hamilton of New London went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, surrounded by her family. Linda graduated from New London High School in 1977 and was a longtime employee of Thomas Creative Apparel in New London. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, taking vacations to Myrtle Beach, and reading a good book.

Linda was a quiet woman but loved practical jokes and laughing with her brothers and sisters. She also loved holidays and giving gifts to her children and grandchildren, especially at Christmas.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Rick Hamilton; her paternal father Gale Gregory; siblings Larry Knudsen, John (Tammy) Gregory, Terry (Jennifer) Knudsen, Connie (Stan) Reed, Rochelle Baker, and Jodi (Eric) Wilhelm; children Kristy (Mike) Downs, Heath (Katrina) Hamilton, Nick Hamilton (Brittany Skillicorn); and grandchildren Carter Downs, Ava Downs, Kylee Hamilton, and Sadie Hamilton. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Doug and Sandy Knudsen.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 4-7 p.m. at the New London Alliance Church, 4625 St Rt 162, New London, OH; where her Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery.
