Linda Lou Honoshofsky

Linda Lou Honoshofsky, 84, of Wellington, died Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Elms Retirement Home. Born on December 8, 1941, in Elyria, she was the daughter of the late Cleve and Mary (nee McKain) Benton. Linda grew up in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School.

Following graduation Linda moved to the Wellington area where she worked at various jobs and raised her family. Linda found the most joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Julie (Brian) Twining and John (Brandy) Honoshofsky, Jr.; grandchildren, Tim (Kristen), Kayla (Michael), Tyler (Alexis); great grandchildren, Mariella, Eliana, Calvin, Isla, and Atley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Cleve and Mary Benton, her brother, Bill Benton, and her grandson Toby Honoshofsky.

At Linda’s request, there will be no public services. A private burial will take place at Huntington Township Cemetery at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
