Linda Lee Kaltenbach, 76, of Oberlin passed away on February 15, 2024 at her home after a lengthy illness. On September 25, 1947, Linda was born in Fairport Harbor, Ohio to the late John and Anna (nee Cervelli) Bawol. Linda graduated from Brunswick High School and attended Tri-C in Parma, Ohio for a year.

From 1969-1981, Linda worked at General Electric as the secretary to the manager of Major Brands in Berea.  Following her time at GE, Linda was a baker and donut maker at the LaGrange IGA.  She was extremely devoted to her husband's businesses.

Linda faithfully attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wellington and taught PSR Religion Classes for 1st through 3rd grade. She also volunteered her time at the Lorain County Parks.

Linda liked to travel and loved to hike up North Michigan. She also loved animals, especially cats, and enjoyed shopping.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dave Kaltenbach; brother, Michael John (Barbara) Bawol; niece, Michelle Mornelli and nephew, Michael J. Bawol. Linda was a favorite Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly by everyone.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Saint Patrick Catholic Parish, 512 N. Main Street, Wellington. A luncheon will follow the Mass. Burial will then be held at Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.

No flowers please, donations can be made to Linda's favorite charity, Cherryland Humane Society, 1750 Ahlberg Road, Traverse City, MI 49696. Arrangements were entrusted to Norton-Eastman Funeral Home.
