Linda M. Walden, age 56, of Wellington, died Monday morning, January 21, 2008 at the Elms, Wellington after a long illness. She was born November 3, 1951 in Elyria, Ohio. She had lived most of her life in the Grafton area. Mrs. Walden was a 1970 graduate of Midview High School, Grafton. She had worked at the Oberlin Public Library for 10 years as head of technical services. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses at Wellington Kingdom Hall. She had been baptized in 2001. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David Walden; 3 daughters, Tonya (Leon) Wohlever of Oberlin, Aspasia (Don) Miatke of Dixon, Illinois, Saxon Walden of Oberlin; 1 son, Jay (Heather) Walden of Dixon, Illinois, 6 grandchildren, Todd, Alexis, Gavin, Aidan, Raeya, Cora; her mother, Susannah (Kovach) Norton; 2 sisters, Sandra Bacher and Becky Norton; her brother, Bill Norton. She was preceded in death by her father, William E. Norton. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Kingdom Hall, 615 West Herrick Ave., Wellington, Ohio 44090. Memorials if desired may be made to the Kingdom Hall. Norton- Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington were in charge of arrangements.
