Lisa R. (Hulliberger) Shirley, 58, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at her home after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 11, 1967, in Lansing, Michigan to Nina Kovesdi and the late Alan Hulliberger. Lisa was a 1986 Edison High School graduate. She also attended The Ohio State University and Bowling Green State University.

Lisa enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, music, suspense movies, reading, and English Literature. She had a witty sense of humor and was a hard worker with an extensive work history at many local businesses. Lisa last worked for Monroeville Freightliner/Great Lakes Truck Centers, which the family would like to especially thank for taking great care of her.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Shirley; mother, Nina Kovesdi; father, Dr. John Kovesdi Jr.; step sister, Kristine Kovesdi; step brother, John Kovesdi III; mother in-law and father in-law, Penny and Charles Stone; step sister, Erika Jiminez; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, David Hulliberger, father, Alan Hulliberger, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
