Lloyd Nelson Ewell, age 89 of Wellington, died Sunday, May 20 at The Elms. He was born September 27, 1917 in Brighton to John F. and Louisa R. (nee Ziegler) Ewell. Mr. Ewell served as a Wellington High School janitor for 26 years and retired in 1990. Mr. Ewell is survived by his daughter, Judy Greer of Wellington; three sons, Leonard Ewell of Wellington, Dennis Ewell of Wakeman, and John Ewell of Danville, CA; a sister, Pauline McConnell; and 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, 24 step-grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Eloise (nee Newcomb) in 2005 and two sisters, Margarete Sprinkle and Luella Ewell. Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, from 6 to 9 pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, where Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am with Pastor Alice Elmquist officiating. Burial will take place at Brighton cemetery.
