Lois Lucal Jones, age 76, of Wellington, passed over into the hands of God, Sunday, May 6, 2012 at E.M.H. Regional Medical Center, Elyria. Lois was born July 11, 1935, in Greenwich, daughter of the late John and Ella (Cole) Oney. She was a 1953 graduate of New London High School. Lois worked for Kent Sporting Goods in New London for many years. She attended the Wellington First United Methodist Church. Lois loved her family, reading, music and cooking shows. She is survived by her children, Cindy (Bill) Hyatt of Wellington, Vaughn (Regina) Lucal of New London, Rick (Cheryl) Lucal of Greenwich, her grandchildren, Joe Hyatt, Jeana Eldridge, Jay Lucal, Monica Davidson, Samantha Lucal, Patrick Lucal, Jordan Lucal, Michael Lucal; 15 great grandchildren; siblings, David Oney, Terry (Becky) Oney, Tammy Parlett all of Greenwich, Lonnie (Mary) Oney of Bellevue, Clyde (Mary) Oney of Radcliff, Kentucky, James (Juanita) Oney of Ashland, Cathy Amburgy of North Port, Florida. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Connie Oney, Janice Rowe, Roger Oney and Wayne Oney and brother-in-law, Tony Parlett. Friends may call from 4'8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Greenwich United Methodist Church, 18 East Main St., Greenwich with Rev. Lea Mahan officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
